HELP
It can be very challenging breaking out of an old, entrenched mindset about how things should be or must be done.
If you want help with mastering these attributes for your own business and branding, contact me and let’s talk about how you can be authentic, ethical, and have a truly outstanding, easily recognizable psychotherapy business.
QUESTION: Sharyn, WHY do you keep saying “psychotherapy business” instead of “psychotherapy practice?” “Business” sounds so, well…impersonal.
ANSWER: Because the practice of psychotherapy is what you do to help people relieve pain, heal, and grow. “Psychotherapy business” is all those things you learn and actions you implement in order to be able to provide psychotherapy in a privately owned practice. Things have changed and are changing more every day. Making peace with doing business properly means you are as serious about taking care of yourself and your family as you are about helping others. It is healthy, appropriate, and sends forth a very positive message.
