FAQ

1. What is the difference between “coaching” and “consultation”?

Professional Coaching – is about what is in you. It is powerful change process that elicits the best from within yourself– your vision, creativity, abilities, drive, focus, clarity, energies, goals–all the inner resources that you will use to successfully develop your psychotherapy practice into a thriving business that provides you with steadily growing income while helping a lot more people.

Consultation – is about having access to external expert information, resources, skills, even “hands on” help–all the elements you will need to get your technical projects accomplished, such as your web/blog design, starting your newsletter, etc. It is also about having benefit of the most current information available about emerging trends and practices. It is about efficiently and effectively managing what is out there.

In all cases, coaching and/or consultation, our work together is a collaborative relationship.

When you hire me, you hire a consultant AND mentor coach, getting the best of both worlds–advice and hands on expertise when you need it. Inspiration, support, brainstorming and accountability when you are stuck or feel over-whelmed. Insight to help you build your prospering psychotherapy business to your highest potential.

What sets me apart from others is that I am also a successful psychotherapist with 17 years in private practice (who, by the way, has been off all managed care and insurance panels for over 10 years).

3. Do you help anyone else besides psychotherapists?

Absolutely. There is nothing more meaningful and rewarding then helping people reach their goals. In addition to the information you find here, I also work with professionals and emerging entrepreneurs in attainment of successful business growth and expanding personal happiness.
